Dance through life as long as you can

It is the gift of that time between our birth and our death which reveals who we are, our dreams, the visions in our head we choose to create and pursue, what we share with others and how we want to be and be seen. It is a gift, an opportunity, and no one knows when the doors will open and when they will close.

As a talented dancer and a beautiful person, Kayla Blair made the most of every minute of that gift called life. Dancing through life and passing away at the incredibly sad age of 21, her life was anything but that. It was happy and real and everything one could imagine a dancer’s life would and should be. Star Performance Academy lost a star indeed but one who will not so quickly be forgotten.

And as she made this life for herself, a scholarship has been set up in her name and memory thus to help the next dancer ready for the chance, up to bat.  Donations can be made to this scholarship at Star Performance Academy or to Grand River Regional Cancer Centre.

Kayla continues to help others by donating her own cancer cells to research to help others win the battle. She will be missed and En Pointe would like to extend our condolences to Kayla’s family in this time.

En Pointe sends its love!
